Thank you for being a Spring Plow Day Sponsor!The 11th annual Spring Plow Day 2023 is on April 29th. This day-long festival celebrates the season and brings the community together to experience the planting season. Plow Day’s main event is an exhibition of mule and horse plow teams, tilling the soil adjacent to our campus.
Our festivals provide a much-needed source of income for Homeplace on Green River and the proceeds enable many other projects like our educational programs for Kentucky’s Outdoor Classroom. With as many as 3000 people attending, our festivals are also intended to be affordable for both our guests and the vendors who come to display their wares or share their recipes with festival-goers.
