Homeplace Swap and Sell: Livestock, Crafts and More Vendor Details and Policies Cost: $20 to pre-register for a vending space $30 at the gate-check in Time: 9:00 am -4:00 PM Eastern Where: The campus lawn at Homeplace. Spaces are first-come, first-served. Vending spaces are a minimum of 10x10 feet and may be much larger depending on the needs of the vendor. All vendors with livestock are to set up their vending spaces along the metal fence by the feed lot. Please do not block the way to the livestock barn. Vendors may begin arriving at 8:00am and must check in with the staff present at the field entrance. Livestock swap rules: Rules for livestock:

If you need access to electricity, it is available in the feedlot or the tobacco Barn. Please let the staff know at check-in. Questions? Payment must be received at least 24 hours in advance for the lower vendor fee.Vendors may also pre-register in person at the Homeplace Office.

Homeplace Swap and Sell: Livestock, Crafts and More Homeplace Swap and Sell: Livestock, Crafts and More Vendor Details and Policies Cost: $20 to pre-register for a vending space $30 at the gate-check in (Free for Household-Level Members - call to register) Time: 9:00 am -4:00 PM Eastern Where: The campus lawn at Homeplace. Spaces are first come, first-served. Vending spaces are a minimum of 10x10 feet and may be much larger depending on the needs of the vendor. All vendors with live stock are to set up their vending spaces on the grass along the metal fence by the feed lot. Please do not block the way to the livestock barn. Vendors may begin arriving at 8:00am and must check in with the staff present at the field entrance. Livestock swap rules: Rules for livestock: Vendors must bring all necessary pens and enclosures Animals must be in good health Animals must be cared for humanely and provided food, water and shade. Vendors must clean up after animals and remove all droppings. No restricted/endangered animals No unleashed dogs Goats and sheep must have a scrapie tag Horses must have a coggins test and the vendor must present it to the organizers. Any other generally required testing, proof of vaccinations, or tagging for animals must be observed at Homeplace as well. Rules for other items: No firearms, explosives, or fireworks No alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs No Balloons Handmade, homemade, homegrown, or repurposed items are preferred (we discourage resale of items purchased in bulk) No clothing sales unless they are handmade All USDA and KDA regulations must be observed All food safety laws and regulations must be observed.
