The Stage in the Bank Barn
The original Bank Barn (so named for the way it is build into the bank of a hill) was originally built in the 1860s. Restored between 2010 and 2016, the Barn is now equipped with a large stage perfect for music and theater. Being a wooden building with a high barn ceiling and rectangular shape, the barn fosters the most beautiful tones from voices or acoustic instruments. The sound quality in the space is incredible and so warm and rich, it has to be heard to be believed. There i new adjustable lighting over the stage, and a large backstage space. In addition to naturally impressive acoustics, the Barn can very comfortably hold 75 seated audience members, and more can be added with hay bale bleachers, always a hit for the kids section! The Barn has two large sliding doors which allow the sound to pour out into the yard.
