2019 Plow Day/Spring Festival Photos
More than 25 horse and mule plow teams turned the soil for an estimated 2000+ folks who attended Saturday’s Homeplace on Green River Plow Day/Spring Festival. There were also 25+ antique tractors and more than 70 food and arts and crafts vendors, exhibitors and folks demonstrating everything from lard rendering to Whittling. There were hay rides, barrel train rides, a petting farm, live music in the Homeplace show barn, colonial reenactors sheep shearing and a host of other family entertainment. Below is a collection of photos of some of the festival activity. Planning is already underway for the September 7 Fall Heritage Festival.
