A Mid-December holiday-themed 5/10K race on our wooded and agrarian trails. This race is being produced by Rocketpower Brand Co.; Marketing and Events Producer. They are donating a portion of the proceeds to Homeplace so the event functions as a fundraiser as well as a great competitive running event. Holiday dress and props are encouraged.
Our trails are perfect for casual hiking and competitive events. One of our primary goals here at Homeplace is to promote general wellness in our community and provide families with access to the great outdoors of south central Kentucky.  We also want to encourage our regions youth to experience nature and get involved in fitness activities.  In addition to hosting our own events, we invite other organizations like clubs and schools to use the grounds for their events! Our trails are perfect for 5/10K fundraisers, local, regional, or state cross country events, and a variety of other competitive outdoor fitness events. Contact Program Director Lyn Stanton to see if a partnership with Homeplace might be right for YOUR group! director@homeplacefarmky.org.

We are proud to host a beautiful Trailhead on our campus, which invites you into the forest to explore the Tebbs Bend Green River Nature Area.  We have a network of over 7 miles of walking trails stretching from Tebbs Bend Road near the metal Green River Bridge, along Green River and up to Joe Kerr Road, allowing visitors a wide variety of landscapes to enjoy as they experience nature here at Homeplace.  Our Agrarian Trail winds it way around almost 200 acres of beautiful cropland and passes by our American Chestnut Nursery Orchard. We know the community will love this unique trail, perfect for folks looking for a little more level of a hike in the sun.  We invite other organizations to partner with us to hold running and walking competitions, possibly as fundraisers, or other community minded events on our trails! Open daily from dawn to dusk.
