Note: Food Vendors are by invitation only.
Note: because we anticipate most guests to make purchases up leaving the festival, we will allow Garden Market Vendors to set up any time between 8:00 am and 1:00pm EST.
Spring Plow Day Vendor Guidelines and Policies
- Spaces are first come, first serve.
- Sales restrictions:
- Original/handmade arts and crafts ONLY, (no resale items)
- The sale of food or water is restricted to food vendors (candy, jams, and jelly or other take-home edible items are OK)
- Live plants may be sold if nicely potted and identified with growing instructions.
- Vending environmentally detrimental items such as balloons or glow sticks, is prohibited. Homeplace reserves the right to deny the vending of any item based on environmental impact or theme.
- If you register but do not qualify for vending, the processing fees for online transactions will NOT be refunded to you. So please check with the Director before registering if you are unsure your merchandise qualifies.
- Festivals will be held rain or shine. There will be no refund of fees due to bad weather or cancellations by the vendor. However you may deduct your fee as a donation to Homeplace, a 501(c)(3) organization, and Homeplace can send you a charitable gift acknowledgement letter for your records.
- Set up can begin at 3:00pm Eastern the day before the festival. There is no security overnight.
- Staff will arrive at approximately 7:00am Eastern on the day of the festival
- Spaces will be marked in advance, so vendors may arrive as early as they wish.
- Parking and admission are free for all vendors.
- After unloading near their vending area, vendors and demonstrators will have assigned parking areas as close to their vending area as is practical.
- Each vendor will have a pre-designated approximately 12x12 foot vending space marked in advance with a name card for the vendor.
- All vendors must set up in their designated space.
- By registering to be a vendor, you are agreeing to have your merchandise, your person, and your party members photographed for Homeplace to use images on our website, social media, and press publications.
- Raffle:
- Our festivals are fundraisers for our organization. We humbly, and respectfully ask our vendors to consider making a donation of a product or collection of products equaling a maximum value of $25 to be entered into a silent auction to support Homeplace on Green River. Items will be displayed in the metal building near Homeplace merchandise and can be bid on over the event. If making a donation, please bring your item to the metal building at least 30 minutes before the festival opens that day. There is no obligation to donate.
- Spaces:
- For Spring Plow Day Craft and Music Festival vendor spaces, we will only being using Tobacco Barn and Feed Lot. We may allow some vendors to use lawn space if arranged with and approved by the Director. - Booths for nonprofits are half-price.
- Booths for Demonstrators are free with approval by the Director.
- Tobacco Barn spaces are not available for demonstrators or non-profits unless approved by the Director.
- Demonstrators must register with the Director.
- Vendor registrations and payments can be submitted online payment with a small processing fee, or applications can be mailed with a check made to Homeplace on Green River. If you need to make other arrangements please contact [email protected] or call 270.789.0006
